Returns & Exchange Policy

2.Overview

At Emessa Jewellery, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of every piece. If you’re not fully satisfied with your purchase, we offer returns or exchanges within 7 days of delivery, subject to the conditions outlined below. This policy complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

2.Australian Consumer Law Rights

Your rights under the ACL are protected and apply in addition to our store policy. If an item is faulty, damaged, not as described, or unfit for purpose, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. These rights cannot be excluded by any store policy or terms. To make a claim under the ACL, please contact us at waperth2@icloud.com with your order details and a clear description of the issue.

3.Change-of-Mind Returns (Within 7 Days)

We accept change-of-mind returns within 7 days of delivery, provided that: The item is unworn, unused, and in its original packaging. The product has not been resized, customised, engraved, or altered in any way. Proof of purchase (such as a receipt or order number) is provided. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, a store credit or exchange will be issued. Refunds for change-of-mind returns are not provided. Shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer.

4.Items Not Eligible for Return or Exchange For hygiene and safety reasons,

 the following items cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty: Earrings and body jewellery Custom-made or personalised pieces Items that have been worn, altered, or damaged after delivery

5.Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your jewellery arrives damaged, faulty, or different from what you ordered, please notify us within 7 days of delivery. Email waperth2@icloud.com with clear photos and a description of the issue. We will assess the claim and arrange a repair, replacement, or refund in line with the Australian Consumer Law.

6.How to Return an Item

  1. Email us at waperth2@icloud.com within 7 days of receiving your order.
  2. Include your order number, reason for return, and any supporting images.
  3. Once approved, you will receive return instructions and a reference number.
  4. Pack the item securely in its original packaging and send it using a trackable postage method. We are not responsible for parcels that are lost or damaged in transit.

 

7.Processing Time

Please allow up to 7 business days after we receive your returned item for inspection and processing. You will be notified via email once your return, exchange, or store credit has been finalised.
